Where can I buy brackets for fitting venetian blinds?
Posted under Venetian BlindsMy fiance bought some venetian blinds from IKEA and they don’t come with any brackets for fitting them. I have tried homebase, focus and b&q and have had no luck. Where in the UK can I get the necessary brackets without having to buy a new blind?
if IKEA dont sell the fittings TAKE THEM BACK FOR A REFUND THEY ARE NOT FIT FOR THE USE YOU PURCHASED THEM FOR and if they cannot get the fittings waht chance have you got

Perhaps u may obtain the width of the venetian blind i.e at the top of the blind. Modify an iron strip (1" x 6" x 0.2") x 2 pcs, bend the iron strip into a 3 in. "L" shape and drill 2 holes on to the"L" shape iron strip, one horizontal and the other vertical. The side to the wall used a self tighten screw, where the top holding the blind use bolts and nuts (0.5" x 0.2")
To obtain the iron strip from the iron smith.

Try a large shop that sells materials for making up your own curtains and blinds I can’t think of any names of shops off hand, but they should be able to provide you with some or tell you where you could purchase them. Good luck.
