   i hang my blinds outside & then just spray with a super orange or green cleaner. hose off & let dry works great, simple. moving them out & figuring how to hang them is the toughest part

   The recommended method of aftercare for Roman blinds is highlighted on each fabric label. Dry cleaning with care will reduce the shrinkage of these fabrics and also help to retain more of the original finish and handle of the fabric. Where dry cleaning is not recommended your roman blind should be cleaned using the upholstery attachment of your vacuum cleaner. Do not use any cleaning solutions.

   To clean a kitchen roman blind, made of cotton, mix some Vanish Oxy Clean in the bath with warm water and leave the blind to soak in the bath for a few hours. If very dirty then repeat, rinse under the shower( if you have one over the bath)Then hang over the line outside to dry.

   You have to be careful when cleaning any type of fabric blind, especially if it is white or a light colour. I think your best and safest option is to get a cleaner out to have a look. You can find your local blind cleaner in the yellow pages or check online.
